Missions

  1. Our church spends about one third of the budget on missions. We also encourage our members to take advantage of opportunities for short term mission trips. There have been several who have gone to Russia, Ukraine, and other countries. Missions is a vital part of our church’s life and we seek continued growth in this area.

  2. Where we are involved in the Great Commission:

  3. One of our own church families (Ken and Lisa Zuk) is in Russia with Send International and we help support and stay involved with them in many ways.

  4. We support a missionary family serving with ABWE

  5. We support a missionary family serving with Independant Baptist Indian Mission

  6. We are also involved with and support the ministries of: HCJB Global, Davis College, the Oneonta Community Christian School, and Operation Christmas Child, as well as other local needs that arise.

Card Ministry

  1. All of our members are remembered with the gift of a card when they celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Senior members, and those who are far away, are sent cards signed by the entire congregation on holidays. Also, those who need an extra lift are sent a card in their time of need. All these cards are hand-stamped by a group of gals who get together once a month on Stampin' Saturday (usually the last Saturday of the month).
